Small Wild Bean is an annual vine; it completes its life cycle during one season but will re-seed. It needs sandy soils (dry or moist). Habitats include sandy woodlands, sandy savannas, sand prairies, and glades. The light pink flowers can be found from the late summer into the fall and can last about 1-2 months. Each individual flower is short-lived and lacks a floral scent. These flowers attract native bees such as leaf-cutting bees, dagger bees, and bumble bees.
