A nice ever-green sedge that is extremely versatile. Plant it in full sun or full shade with moist to semi-dry conditions. Common Wood Sedge can tolerate a wide range of soil types. A low-mounded profile makes it great for landscaping. In natural settings, Common Wood Sedge can be found in upland woodlands, woodland openings, savannas, thickets, and prairies.
