For about a month in mid-summer, Honewort, a shade-loving perennial produces tiny (1/8-in.) white flowers, splayed in the compound umbels that are characteristic of its carrot family. The blossoms are not fragrant or showy, but they are very attractive to a variety of native bees, flies, and wasps.
