Longleaf Bluets (Houstonia longifolia)
It prefers full to partial sun, medium to dry conditions and can tolerate poor quality soils. Because of its height, it does not tolerate competition from tall and aggressive vegetation. Houstonia longifolia is found in dry gravel prairies, hill prairies, rocky glades, and thinly wooded bluffs.
