Goldenrod - Ohio (Oligoneuron ohioense)
Growing up to 3 ft tall, this goldenrod is rather compact with a cluster of large, dark green basal flowers with alternating smaller lance-leaf leaves along the stem. This is topped off with dense branches that support an array of flat-topped clusters of small yellow flowers. These flowers will bloom from July all the way to September, giving bees and other pollinators a great source of food. Seeds are produced with fluff which are dispersed through the wind.
